The fleet of 100 Aston Martins passes through Germany during the Centenary Rally
Aston Martin enthusiasts took to the roads in July for the European Centenary Rally in celebration of 100 years of the iconic brand. Covering over 1,000 miles and spanning seven countries in five days, the tour began at the beautiful CastaDiva Resort and Spa on Lake Como in Italy and finished in London, passing through the scenic countryside of Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Luxemburg and France en route. Stops along the way included Schloss Weitenburg and the Nürburgring Test Centre in Germany and Château de Cocove in France. The drive involved a fleet of 100 Aston Martins across the full model range, including the One-77, limited-edition V12 Vantage Roadsters and Zagatos and the new Vanquish as well as heritage models, carrying 200 guests who, on arrival in London, joined the glittering Aston Martin black-tie party at Freemasons’ Hall. The following day, the cars from the rally joined the crowds at Kensington Gardens as part of the largest-ever gathering of Aston Martin cars. With the weather on their side, it made for a memorable event in the marque’s centenary year.
